Welcome To Rise Christian Church

Any traveller would agree that where you are looking is where you’ll end up.
Here at Rise our vision is simply Jesus.
As author, He is our starting point.  As finisher, He is our destination.
In our journey of faith, we hope to carry out all that He calls us to do, to see His kingdom come and
His will be done. Proverbs 11:11 says that, “By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted”.
The city of Ballarat is well known for its history in gold mining but most famous for the Eureka Stockade. We are believing that God would move so powerfully in this city, that Ballarat’s previous fame would be eclipsed by His Glory.

If you would like to attend our Sunday service, we start at 10:00 am and usually finish between
11:30am and 12:00pm.  After the service, join us for a coffee and chat because we’d love
to get to know you.  Our desire is that every time we meet together, our faith and our
friendships are made stronger.

The Stand

The Stand is our corporate prayer meeting held each Tuesday at our church office (15 Gray Street Sebastopol) between 7pm and 8pm.  The focus is on seeing God move and allowing Him to move us.  We believe that some things won’t change unless people pray……so we pray!
